Carol Adele Palmeri, 74, beloved wife of Thomas Palmeri, of Wilmington, passed away in her home surrounded by her family on Monday, November 21, 2016.
Born in Hartford, Connecticut, October 20, 1942, a daughter of the late John and Harriet Burgess Kalish (Kalisz). Carol had been a Wilmington resident for many years and worked as a practice manager for a local physicians group. Carol also had a successful career as a leasing agent for Bell Partners, Inc achieving the status of member in the Million Dollar Club. She retired in 2015 and enjoyed her free time visiting with family members, bird watching, and crocheting blankets for all of her friends.
In addition to her husband Thomas, she is survived by her daughter, LuAnn Adele Stockton; her granddaughter, Hannah Adele Stockton; her sister, Louise Cahen; her nieces, Deann Turney and her husband Levi; Valerie Nelson and her husband Cliff, and Patti Gosselin; her nephew, David Cahen, and her grandnieces and grandnephews, Heidi, Laura, Todd, Dominick, and Knox.
A celebration of Carol’s life will be held Monday, December 5, 2016, from 1 to 3 pm at the Wilmington Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be sent to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
