Memorial Gifts & Donations

Byron J. Stahl passed August 31st quietly at home.

He was born February 5, 1967 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Mary and Roy Stahl.

Byron had a short but good life and would do anything for his family including his world and life long spouse Donna Palmertree, his son Joseph G. Stahl, his mother Mary Stahl, his father Roy Stahl his sister Gwendolyn Stahl, brother Chris Stahl, Vernon Stahl and Steve Hartman.

He had many many friends of which friendships were not hard for him to make. Byron was a great provider, life partner, father, son, brother, friend, and truck driver. Byron would do anything and everything for anyone even if you burnt that bridge, he’d repair it and still do what he could for anyone.

He leaves behind his heart and soul my mother Donna and me his son Joseph, his mother Mary, father Roy, sister Gwen and brothers Chris and Vernon and Steve along with many aunt’s ,uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and his furry grand pup. He loved his big rigs, the Cowboys, the tar heels, nascar and sundrop. Byron has left many baffled and confused on how he left us and it’s still hard to believe. But Byron was a Godly man and gave his life to the lord. His saying was ” When God calls you it’s your time”. Granted we don’t understand why he was called so soon but we know he has been reunited with our family we’ve lost along the way. He will truly be missed by all. Keep on trucking Pops. Until we meet again, I know you will be watching over us and all those you loved and called a friend. He will leave a void in the ones he leaves behind that would be hard to fill by anyone. You were bigger than life. We love you and hope you get the rest you deserve. You worked hard all of your life until your last day. This will be difficult to swallow but we will go by your motto “you just gotta keep pushing through”. Rest easy my Lion.

Memorial service will be 2pm on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation 1535 South 41s Street Wilmington, NC 28403
