Alan, was my brother for life in Delta Chi. I have enough stories to fill a book from our time at Northern Colorado. He will be missed.

I just heard about Alan this Saturday night. I had the Great Opportunity of being Alan's friend. I haven't seen him in over 20 years. Time and distance. It creates a divide. We laughed more than our sides could handle. We were confused more than our brains could take. We played harder than our bodies, almost could sustain. Good thing we were young. This World is truly less enjoyable because your size 13's no longer roam it Alan. I sure hope you have those Cole Haan shoes from the Dell's on dude. Getting ready to kick a soccer ball around. Yes! A clap of those big hands. Dude, let's go! You might not think so Alan but I love you Dude / Man / Brother. Peace to you Alan. Now go get those damn Onions for those ladies at Mexicali's.

Allen was our friend. He was good for our soul(s) and we were good for his. It was good for Allen to “escape” from his world…we allowed him to do that. He appreciated that and most certainly let us know. With Allen…let’s say “we all let our hair down.” he will be missed…without question.
