Alan Sean “Bruce” Boyett, 34, of Wilmington, NC, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2012 at his home.

He was born in Lubbock, TX on November 28, 1977. He graduated from South Florence High School and attended Florence- Darlington Technical College, and Francis Marion University in Florence, SC. He had lived in Wilmington for 10 years and was employed by Katt’s Taxi.

Surviving is his father, Art Boyett and wife, Beth of Greensboro, NC; his mother, Gradine R. Boyett of Buena Vista, GA; his sister, April Boyett of Yonkers, NY; his fiancée and love of his life, Heather Lynde and her son, Eli of Wilmington, NC; maternal grandmother, Justine Rogers of Buena Vista, GA.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Wilmington Funeral Chapel by Eric Pollard. The family will receive friends following the service.
