Albert Victor Braun age 75, of Wilmington passed away Friday, March 13, 2015 at his home.

Albert was a proud veteran of the US Marine Corps. He was mostly known in downtown Wilmington as a merchant and manager at the Old Wilmington City Market on South Front Street.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Riley Braun; children, Charles “Chuck” Braun of Wilmington, Jeffrey Braun of Burgaw, NC, Keith Braun of Winnabow, and Jennifer Lewis; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be later for family and friends.
