Albert Hardison age 78 of Wilmington passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2021 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Pender County, NC on January 1, 1943 to Roscoe and Alice Autry Hardison.

Albert was raised a Christian and he and was retired as a Quality Control Technician in manufacturing in Wilmington. He was a proud veteran of the US Air Force serving at Amarillo Air Force Base in Texas from February 29, 1960 to April 18, 1963. He was a big Duke University fan, enjoyed cars, and traveling in his leisure time, he loved everything about horses and riding them when ever he could.

He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Bailey Bordeaux; granddaughter Catherine Hardison Skipper (Lex); 4 great grandchildren, Alexis, Nevaeh, Hayden and Hayes; brothers, Wesley Hardison and Elwood Hardison; step children, Rusty and Heidi Bordeaux. He was preceded in death by his wife Aloma Hardison, son Michael Albert Hardison and grandson, Cannan Hardison; brother Raymond Hardison and sister Alice Hardison Lee.

Funeral service will be 11 am Wednesday September 1, 2021 at the Gravesite in Sea Lawn Memorial Park in Hampstead, NC. The US Air Force will provide Military Honors with the Flag Presentation and Taps.
