Alva Joseph Sniff

Alva Joseph Sniff, age 67, of Hampstead, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2016, at the New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Al was born on February 9, 1949, in Little Rock, AR., the son of Burl John Sniff and Helen Morris Sniff.

He is survived by his wife Luann and children; Donnie Sniff and wife Shannon, Walt Sniff, Paul Sniff and wife Crystal, Emmitt Sniff, Delores Williams and husband Michael, Melissa Perry and husband Rocky and Megan Hammond and husband Jeremy, 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. A hard working man who worked his fingers to the bone. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Al worked as a union electrician with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW).

Services are being planned and will be announced.
