James, boys, and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I have very fond memories of Miss Andi when we worked together so many years ago @ Crocker's and know that she will be missed by many. You are in my thoughts and prayers @ this very difficult time. "If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together...there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think, but the most important thing is, even if we're apart...I'll always be with you."

    Adjinoria (Ann) H. Tomlin says:
10.14.2010 7:04 p.m. To the McAdams family: I did not "know" Andi McAdams personally, but I worked for her husband, James, at North Brunswick High School when he was principal there in the 80's. I learned of her illness from other teachers on the staff and of his care and concern for her during that sickness. I had the pleasure of meeting his sons on one occasion at North when they were visiting their dad. I left North in 1991. As a sub teacher, my path crossed his again in New Hanover County when he was a principal at New Hanover High, and now at Ashley High where he is currently principal. I remember him as a firm but dedicated educator/administrator who "tried" to do the right thing most of the time for his teachers. I send heart-felt condolences to him and his sons as they make the transition to a life of memories without her physically. I'm sure he'll continue to provide dedicated service to the school system. Humbly Submitted, Adjinoria (Ann) Tomlin
