Memorial Gifts & Donations

Angela Louise Pate, 54, of Wilmington died on Saturday, July 16, 2022. She was born in Wilmington on February 13, 1968 to Glenn and Patricia Pate.

She was preceded in death by her father Glenn

Angie was a beautiful, kind, and giving person and at any given chance she would help anyone in any way that she could. She had the best heart and personality. She was always the second mom to her daughter’s friends and made them all feel at home. Angie was a skilled engraver creating immaculate designs for local businesses, charity groups, non-profit organizations, and county schools and any material you could think of including trophies and plaques, she never failed the assignment and was everyone’s first choice in an engraver. Angie also had a passion for collecting records and movies with a great taste in both, passing that on to her daughter.

Angie is survived by her life partner and love of her life Timothy Cliff, daughter Justice Rain Howard, mother Patricia Pate, sister Robin Hughes and husband Christopher Hughes, and a lot of amazing friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 6:00pm on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation – Wilmington Chapel 1535 S. 41st Street, Wilmington, NC 28403

The family asks that you come with a story of Angie, as there will be a time of sharing.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Adopt an Angel (here) in honor for her love of animals and the many years she spent volunteering at the rescue.

I'm very sorry to hear about Angie's passing at such a young age. For many years she did all our customer's engraving for SignBiz. It was always a pleasure to see Angie as it was more than business. She was so pleasant, helpful & a great problem solver. I've missed seeing her the past few years and send my sincerest condolences to the family
