Angelina M. Ferreira, 80 of Wilmington passed away suddenly on November 8, 2010.

She was preceded in death by her parents August and Stella Martin, sister Anna Pelliccio, and her husband Carlos Ferreira.

Angelina is survived by her two children Virginia Ferreira of Wilmington and Carlos Ferreira and wife Alexa of Mt. Vernon, NY, two grandchildren William and Samuel Ferreira and many nieces and nephews.

She was an active member of St. Mary Parish volunteering her service in the church office for many years. Angelina was also a member of the Catholic Daughters Court 1036. She was a loving, selfless soul who will be greatly missed by all who knew her especially by her St. Mary family.

Mass of the Resurrection will be 10:00 AM, Friday, November 12, 2010 at St. Mary Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary -Tileston Outreach, 412 Ann Street, Wilmington, NC 28401.

    My deepest condolences to Ginger & Carlos. We all loved your Mom when we were growing up in Mt. Vernon. My memories of her are that she was so kind, generous and such a great cook. I can still remember her delicious fried chicken. I know she will be greatly missed. Rose
