Anita Sarah McGough, age 79, of Wilmington, died on Sunday, February 9, 2014.

She was born on July 5, 1934 in Hudson County, New Jersey to the late William E. and Frieda P. Kinney.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Wilmington Funeral Chapel.

Mrs. McGough is survived by her husband, Dudley McGough of the home; sons, Vincent J. Ardito and wife Jeffery Ann of Jacksonville and William E. Ardito of Ocean City, MD; sister, Miriam Doherty and husband Leonard of Jacksonville; brother, William E. Kinney and wife Barbara of Punta Gorda, FL; and grandchildren, Matthew Ardito of Jacksonville, Anna Ardito of Raleigh, and Emelia Ardito of Asheville.

    Anita Will miss you my friend. My prayers are with Mac, Vince and Billy. Anita suffered long and hard and now she is at peace. I will miss her terribly. She is a beautiful angel now..free of pain and suffering. RIP Anita.
