Anne Hyer, age 80, of Wilmington, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021, at her home.

She was born in Queens, NY, on June 28, 1940, the daughter of Calogero Bosco and Rosalie Puma Bosco.

Anne is survived by her husband Edward with whom she recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary, after having retired to North Carolina in 1996. Besides her husband, Anne leaves behind her children Karen (David) Summerfield  of Wilmington, NC and Michael (Chanel) Hyer of Long Island, NY as well as her grandchildren Spencer Summerfield, and Alexander, Samantha, Xavier and Bryce Hyer.

Anne was funny, a fabulous cook and hostess, and a wonderful friend. She volunteered her time at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Basilica Shrine of St Mary Catholic Church. She treasured her family and close friends and will always be remembered by them.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 18, 2021, at St. Mark Catholic Church, 1013 Eastwood Rd, Wilmington, NC 28403.

In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations made to St Judes Childrens Hospital, in memory of Anne, would be greatly appreciated.
