Anne Louise Jones 79, of Wilmington died Friday December 24, 2010 at her home.

Anne was born in Hollis, New York on August 5, 1931 the daughter of the late Charles and Therese Tshantre Anderson, and worked for the Cincinnati Public Library until she retired and moved to Wilmington. She worked as a volunteer for Meals of Wheels and the Wilmington Railroad Museum.

She is survived by her three daughters, Clair Powers of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Beverly Jones of Geneva, Switzerland and Marilyn Hollis of Palm Beach, Florida and four grandchildren, one great-grandchild.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Meals on Wheels or the Wilmington Railroad Museum.

    Ms. Jones was a very dear lady. I worked with Ms. Jones for 6yrs. at the Pleasant Ridge Branch Library. It was such a joy to work with her. She will be missed.

    Just received a very sad notice about my cousin Anne. We talked about our common family and its history. Now she will have all of the answers to questions that we did not know about. My sympathy to her family and many friends, as she will be missed.

    Clair, Bev, and Marilyn, We were sorry to hear about Ann's passing. She has been part of our lives since the 2nd grade, when you lived down the street. We believe she lived a full and inte resting life.
