Annette Todd Julaton

August 6, 1963 - March 20, 2017
Annette Todd Julaton

Annette Todd Julaton, age 53, of Wilmington, NC, found peace on Monday (March 20, 2017) at Lower Cape Fear Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer. Annette was born in Charleston, WV, August 6, 1963, and moved to Wilmington, NC, in 1979. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Coombs, 37, of Wilmington, NC, along with her mother, Violet Petry, 80, of West Virginia, and sisters Alicia Albashayreh, 50, Sherry Little, 60, and brother, Jack “Bee” Little, 44. Those that knew Annette would readily say that she had a quick, sarcastic wit that was sometimes matched by her niece, Miranda Lawrence, 27, and longtime friend, Barbie Brehmer, 53. Nette, as she was called by those close to her, enjoyed reading romance and true crime novels with a little ID channel in the background. Her love of books was only matched by her love of animals. She never allowed her diagnosis to dictate her life and always made it a point to help others, human or animal. In fact, when she noticed two dogs in her neighborhood being abused she stepped in and got them to safety. Annette was a very quiet and reserved person who showed her love to her family and friends in a very subtle yet profound way. She enjoyed her life. She enjoyed the work she did and the close friends and family that she had. She was a woman who deserved everything, but was happy with very little. She is, and will forever be, loved by her family, forever cherished, forever honored, and, most importantly, never forgotten.
