Annie Lou Jackson, 89 of Wilmington passed away Monday, December 5, 2011.
She was born in Dillon, SC on May 9, 1922. Her parents were the late Willie Robert Jackson and Annie Price Jackson. Remembered is her husband Arthur Woodrow Jackson who passed away in 1996.
Annie is survived by three children, Arthur Sherman Jackson and his wife Lori of CA, Barbara Ann Zimmerman and husband Roman of NJ, and William J. Jackson and wife Patricia of NJ; grandchildren, James, Kathryn, Megan, Elizabeth, Joseph, Shery Ash, William, and Mark; 9 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren; brothers, Arthur Jackson, and Carl Jackson; sisters, Dora Jackson, Elizabeth Prince, Marie Waters, and Irene Shrader and sisters-in-law Bernice Jackson and Augustine Jackson. She was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Hinson, and two brothers, Gary Jackson and Robert Jackson.
The family will see friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday at Wilmington Funeral Chapel, 1535 S. 41st Street, where funeral services will be held 11 am Saturday officiated by Rev. Eugene Ridley. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be James Jackson, William Jackson, II, Joseph Zimmerman, Mark Jackson, Richard Hinson and Jacky Jackson.
