Annie S. Bailey, 57 of Wilmington passed away September 18, 2007 at her home.
She was preceded in death by her father Wilbur Merritt.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years Charles Bailey, daughter Jacqueline Edwards, sons Jeff Bailey and Darin Bailey, her mother Vassie Merritt, sister Gail Merritt, of San Francisco, CA, brothers Marshall Merritt (Angie) of Roanoke Rapids, VA, Wilbur Merritt (Connie) of Red Springs, NC, Clee Merritt, of Wilmington, Roy Merritt (Rosemary) of Wilmington, James Merritt, of Wilmington and Steven Merritt (Cindy) of Leland, grandchildren Christana Bailey Gralak and Tristen Skylar Gralak, many nieces and nephews.
She was a registered nurse at The Oaks for 27 years. She adored her grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM this evening at Wilmington Burial and Cremation, 1535 S 41st Street. Graveside service will be 2:00 PM Friday, September 21, 2007 at Oleander Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
