AC Thompson passed away November 5, 2022, at Novant Hospital with dear friends, Lisa Marie, and Christopher at his bedside to comfort him on his final journey. He was predeceased by his mother, Ann Berg and his sister, Karen Thompson.
Archie was born on December 3, 1953, in Winterset Iowa and was both a navy and army veteran. He was an active member in the VFW, DAV and the American Legion, where he was a member of Post 129 Motorcycle Riders. He was an avid billiards player and member of the APA with dozens of friends within this group. Archie enjoyed many good times with his fellow moose lodge pals as well.
AC will be greatly missed by close friends Randy and Lisa (VA), Rick and Jeannie (SC) and his “cousins by choice”, Duck and Lisa Marie. He is survived by his brother Kevin (CA) and his stepbrother, Darin and stepmother, Lois Thompson.
Archie was a kind and jovial fellow, compassionate, caring, and generous to a fault. He will be missed by many.
Memorial service will be announced at a later date.
