Arthur Preston Minchew peacefully passed away on March 22nd 2016. Age 84, Born July 22, 1931 in Willacoochee, GA a son of the late Archie and Evelyn Minchew. Art was an Air Force veteran and had an eventful 35 year career at IBM within the Federal Systems Division, contributing to the success of the NASA Apollo program and the Triton Sonar Programs.

He and his loving wife of 27 years, Arlene, settled down in Wilmington, NC, where they worked together as a team, building Ropa Etc. clothing stores. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great great grandfather. We all have our own experiences with his unfiltered views on life and we will continue to share these stories going forward.

We love you dad and you will be greatly missed.
