Ashley Nicole Wilson Wells, 28, passed away suddenly in her home on Thursday, May 3, 2012. She was preceded in death by her mother, Pamela Anne Wilson.

She is survived by her husband, Brian W. Wells and daughter, Genevieve Rose Wells, age three of the home; father, William E. Wilson and wife, Cheryl Wilson of Currie, NC; three brothers, William Joseph Wilson of Dayton, OH, Staff Sgt. Christopher Wilson and wife, Nora of Clovis, NM and John R. Fowler, Jr. and wife,, Kita of Wilmington, NC; paternal Grandparents, Archie and Martha Wilson of Currie, NC; maternal grandmother Pat Vincent Woodruff of Santa Monica, CA and grandfather, Joseph Vincent of Dallas, TX.

Ashley leaves behind many loving in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss her loving ways and her sweet smile. Also, along Ashley’s path of life she made many friends who will miss her greatly. She will remain in all our hearts forever.

A memorial service to honor the life of our beloved Ashley will be held at 3:00 pm, Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Currie Community Baptist Church, 28396 NC Highway 210, Currie, NC. Officiating will be Rev. Rod West and Rev. Jerry Worley with eulogies from family and friends. Ashley attended Currie Community Baptist Church where she and Brian were the first couple married there.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Ashley for her daughter, Genevieve Rose Wells c/o Corning Federal Credit Union, 125 Racine Drive, Wilmington, NC 28403.

    I remember Ashley when she would come to stay with her grandmother Martha when she was very young. She reminded me so much of Martha and I sure she grew up to be a wonderful woman like her Grandmother. My heart and prayers go out to all of her family. Love Sara
