Ausby E. Prince, 90, a longtime resident of Sunset Park in Wilmington passed away Saturday, May 21, 2011 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
He was born June 3, 1920 in Horry County, SC. His parents were the late LeRoy and Martha Ann Boyd Prince.
Ausby was a member of Long Leaf Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in WW II and was retired from Springer-Eubank Oil Company with 30 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years Sarah Elizabeth Prince; his son and daughter-in-law Robert and Peggy Prince of Houston, TX. Numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will see friends 7 to 8 Monday at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation Chapel.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation Chapel officiated by Rev. Eugene Ridley. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
