Belinda Kay Batson Hudson age 69 of Wilmington passed away very peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, July 26, 2019 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCareCenter.

Belinda was born in Wilmington, NC on March 25, 1950, to William Edward Batson and Tannie Emily Batson. Also preceded in death by two brothers, Donald L. Batson and Andrew W. Batson.

Belinda was a faithful member of Temple Baptist Church in Wilmington and was retired from Food Service. She enjoyed cooking at her church keeping up with her family and friends on Facebook.

She is survived by her brother and sisters, James E. Batson, Wanda B. Hurlburt (Ralph) and Sandra D. Drayton (Simon); 10 nieces and nephews and their families; and extended family members and many dear friends including cousin Linda Newber and best friend Darlene Barnes.

A memorial service will be held 2 pm Sunday, August 4, 2019, at Temple Baptist Church with visitation to follow the service.
