Benjamin Bruce Fieldes Sr. “BB”, age 59, of 1010 Lake Norman Lane Died on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at his residence of natural causes. Mr. Fields was born on April 14, 1960 in Dade County, FL, being the son of Heawig Masberger (Heidi Fields), and the late Eugene Fields. Mr. Fields had resided in Leland, NC
.
Besides his mother, Heidi Fields, Mr. Fields is survived by his wife of 39 years, Deborah (Harrison) Fields; one son, Benjamin Bruce Fields, Jr. and one daughter, Amy Lynn Pederson and her fiancé Christopher David Kelly; three grandchildren who adored and loved him more than he will ever know – Landen Michael Pederson, age 12, Carter David Kelly, age 4, and he finally got his baby girl granddaughter on 9-11-18 Pailynn Reign Kelly, 8 months of age.
Mr. Fields had one sister, Velma Pizzuto (deceased); and two brothers George Nowack of The Cayman Islands and Ketrick (Bugsy) Fields.
Nephews /Nieces Heather Marie Miller, Hayley Brooke Allen, Heidi Pizzutto, Dominick Pizzuto, Timothy Harrison, Kaci Harrison, Amber Harrison, and several great nieces and nephews.
Also survived by his loving sister-in-law Pamela Allen, and her soul mate, Matt Murphy, brother-in-laws Ray Harrison and wife Vernette and Noah Harrison and wife Jennifer, all of the Lovitt family and friends, his dealers/car – co-workers and friends across Wilmington.
Mr. Fields was the head supervisor for Lovitt’s Auto Sales, and Lovitt Motor Company since the Lovitt brothers joined together and opened the dealership. Mr. Fields dedicated most of his time of 48 years working for the Lovitts. His customers know him as “BB” and he was the best car salesman in Wilmington NC. First to arrive and the last to leave.
Above all, his family loved him dearly. He was the most wonderful husband and father you could ask for. Always made sure everyone and anyone had what they needed even if he didn’t. He loved his Michelob Ultra beer in the afternoons, coming home to play with his grandchildren and most of all to his wife.
If he could say one thing right now – it would be “Imagine that!”
Rest now daddy, you don’t have to worry and fly high with your sister. We will all be together in God’s heaven one day. We love you.
A visitation will be Wednesday May 22 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a memorial service on Thursday May 23 at 1:00 pm at the Wilmington Chapel.
