Bert J. Natalicchio, 79, of Wilmington, passed away Friday,
September 6, 2013 at his home.

Born on May 8, 1934 in Jersey City, NJ, he was a son of the late Vincent and Anna Limatola Natalicchio. Bert graduated from Jersey City Technical College in 1959 and later honored as their most successful graduate. He then went to work for Hobart Corporation ultimately culminating as Vice-President. Upon retiring from Hobart, he came to Wilmington to start his own business and then fully retired in 2005. He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Bert was an avid fisherman and loved being out on his boat. He was always a storyteller and ready with a joke.

Surviving, is his beloved wife of 58 years, Bella Roselli Natalicchio; two sons, Bert C. Natalicchio (Suzanne) of Sugar Land, TX, Perry Natalicchio (Sharon) of Wilmington; a brother, Leo Natalicchio (Linda) of Edgewater, NJ; a sister, Alba Hetyey (Steve) of Bayville, NJ; four grandchildren, Emelia, Luke, Alex, and Abbey Natalicchio; brother-in-law, Michael Roselli (Dorsey) of Wrightstown, NJ; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Mary Earle-Festa.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 pm until 8 pm at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation.

A memorial Mass will be 10 am Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father John McGee officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital; 501 St Jude Place; Memphis, TN 38105.

    Everybody loves Bert. I have only known Bert for 6 years but he was an avid Wilmington Pump Club member and always added immenssly to regular meetings.
