Betsy L. Casteen Glover, 83, wife of 46 years to the late John M. Glover Sr., of Wilmington, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2016 in her home.
Born in Wilmington, October 11, 1933, she was a member of Sunset Park Baptist Church where she attended the Alpha Sunday School Class.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen G. Vert and Margie Glover; her sons, John M. Glover Jr. and his wife Vicki, and Roger L. Glover; her grandchildren, Aurelia Smith, Miranda Lewandoski, Benjamin Glover, Marissa Mielke, Jessica Saidenstat, Alex Glover, and Sydney Glover; her great-grandchildren, Chloe Smith, Cassidy Pope, Aaron Roberts, Brianna Glover, Katie (Holland) Glover, Shelby Glover and Mia Glover, Bailey Mielke and Brynna Mielke, her sisters Frances Hayes and Linda Kendrick; and her brother, Donald Casteen, and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband John, she was preceded in death by her mother and father, Margaret and Edward Casteen and sister Dorothy McPhatter.
A memorial service will be celebrated at Sunset Park Baptist Church on June 10th at 3:30 pm. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
