Betty Ann Christopher, age 72 of Wilmington and formerly of Mebane, NC passed away Tuesday November 6, 2018.

She was born in Alamance County, NC on May 8, 1946 to George and Mary Robinson.

Betty is survived by her husband of 54 years, Philip Christopher; three children Philip Christopher, Jr., Greg Christopher and his wife Meaghan, and Mary Christopher; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; one brother Roland Robinson.

The most important things to Betty were her family, and making everyone smile and laugh. She never met a stranger, and made many friends on her walks on the beach with her husband. She was a great cook and her specialty was spaghetti and meatballs that all of her family and friends enjoyed.

Memorial services are being planned for Sunday December 2, 2018. The time and place is to be determined.

    She was like a 2nd Mom to me. She put up with Mary and me going to those wrestling matches. She never cared if I raided her refrigerator. She was easy to talk to, and a great person. Never forget those beach and mountain trips. She will be missed.

    I am blessed with many memories as a child and adult with Betty Ann. She was thirteenth when I was born. Our family being at Aunt Mary and Uncle George’s for all the holidays was so special. She had away of making everything better. Her positive outlook on life stands out the most. I remember when she met Philip the love of her life. She was a women I admire and loved deeply. I will always love and miss her laughter and kind words. Rest In Peace
