April 10, 2011, Betty Jane Morrow Staub died peacefully in her sleep at Wilmington Health & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born October 23, 1922 to the late Ralph B. and Martha C. Morrow in York, Pa. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles E. Staub, son-in-law, Michael Wilson and three brothers.

She is survived by her children, Susan Wilson-Sykes and husband Robert Sykes; Sandra D. Grant; Charles B. Staub and Sherry D. Moy. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren, her sister Gloria Smith of Athens, Ga. and several nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be held at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation, Thursday, April 14, 2011, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Distribution of her ashes will be held at a later date.

The family will accept visitors at the home of Susan and Robert Sykes, 173 Graystone Rd, Wilmington, NC.

    My sincere sympathies and prayers to Sandi, Suzie, Charlie and Sherry and their families. I have known your mom as long as I have known Sandi; since the mid 1970's. I met her and your dad at their home in Seat Pleasant. Your mom was one hell of a woman and I adored her. I always had the best time hanging around her or just talking to her on the phone over the years; ditto your dad. You have a couple of awesome guardian angels watching over you all.
