My dearest Nanny, My heat is broken now you are gone. I cry because it hurts but I also cry because I know you are rejoicing with Papa and momma. I know you are happy to be with them again and I am so great full for the nearly 38 years I had with you. You were definitely a light in my life that shined so bright and I am so happy that my children got to know and love you as much as I do. I am surely going to miss you and your tea parties you had with the kids. I will forever cherish those memories and hold them in a special place in my heart. Give my Papa and momma a great big hug from me and tell them all about the kids. I love you Nanny, always Amie

Mrs Betty’s presence will be missed so much here on earth. In 42 years I can’t think of one memory of Leland Baptist Church that does not include her. She was known by many and loved by All. I know she is Dancing in the Sky…We’ll Done Mrs Betty.

An amazing lady. As a teenager I would spend the entire weekend with Patty and dropped back off Sunday night after church. I was given a safe haven to be myself and be safe while I was there. She was an amazing lady and loved people and the Lord. I can hear her and Uncle Floyd singing now!

Aunt Betty as I grew up calling was an amazing and caring lady. I use to spend every weekend with Patsy as a teenager and aunt Betty cooked for us, did our hair Saturday night before church on Sunday after church we went back home where she always had an amazing lunch. Patsy and I would hang out all day, back to church on Sunday night and her and uncle Floyd would drop me at home after church in Sunday night. She gave me a safe haven during the weekend. She was a loving and kind woman and will be missed. Live and prayers to the family.
