Betty Ray Frick, age 70 of Leland, NC passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Betty was a loving and devoted mother, sister, grandmother and aunt.

Betty was born December 4, 1949, in Columbia, South Carolina to the late Ray McMillian Caywood and Grace Jay Brown Caywood. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters; Helon DeLois Pippin, Mary Elizabeth Jessup, and Sara Ann Caywood; and five brothers Billy Ray Caywood, Manning Louis (M.L.) McCormack, Albert Z. (Bert) Caywood, George Caywood, and Walter Eugene (Gene) Caywood.

She is survived by her sons, Jason Frick (Joanna) of Wilmington, NC and Paul Frick of Wilmington, NC; grandson Devin Frick of Wilmington, NC; brother Wesley M. Caywood (Ellen) of Fort Worth, Texas. Betty was also blessed with several nieces and nephews and other family and friends who will miss her greatly.

The family will honor Betty’s request to hold no services.

    My condolences to Betty’s sons & family in your loss of a great lady.. I have known Betty since high school along with all her family. Betty was a beautiful girl in her teens as she was until the day she left you guys. Her children was her sunshine, the Lord was her strength. She will be missed by many. Rest In Peace my friend.♥️♥️
