Billie Nobles Phelps, age 84, of Wilmington, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center.

She was born on June 27, 1933, in Chadbourn, NC, the daughter of Horace Berry Nobles and Ethel Mae Nobles Shivar.

A service to Celebrate her life will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at the Wilmington Chapel. Rev. Tim Rausch officiating. Interment will follow in the Oleander Memorial Gardens.

    All if us from Indy, her sister Lou, and her nieces Dawn and Terri send our love to the family. Aunt Billie will be greatly missed. She loved her candy and was a fountain of knowledge about family. We so enjoyed our visit with her this summer.
