Bo Johnson, age 71, of Wilmington died suddenly at home on Thanksgiving Day.

Edward “Bo” Johnson was born in Alexandria, VA on April 1, 1943. He attended and graduated Elon University. Prior to living in Wilmington, NC for the past 15 years he and his wife Burgess, along with his two daughters and son lived in Charlotte, NC. Before retirement he worked as a consultant to various elder care organizations, facilities, and centers.

Bo loved his family, gardening, and spending time outdoors. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and son, his older and younger sister as well as 4 grandchildren.

Bo’s immediate family will remember him in a private ceremony.
