Bordy I'm going to miss you. Bordy was a good friend, no matter how far away he was,he always kept in contact. Marty(son) he was so proud of you and always talked about your life. His second language was fishing and I learned a lot from him. Bordys favorite fish was the SNOOK, so Bordy the next snook I catch is for you dude.

My dearest Bordy (cont.) My heart is so broken that you will no longer be here for your children. I thought of Marty right away when I saw the fishing show this morning and how much he loved to go fishing with you. Casey and Brooke miss you terribly. Brooke still doesn't quite understand, but Casey is having a really hard time. She feels so guilty that she didn't call you back on Sat. when you called and then Sunday you were gone. I'm so sorry for everything. I would give anything if you were still here for your children. My heart just won't stop breaking thinking of all that you have already missed and now will never have with your beautiful children. We all miss you so much and would give anyting to have you back. Just know that we all love you and miss you. My heart breaks to think of you going and us not being able to say our goodbyes. I'm so scared, Bordy. Please look out over us and keep us safe. Please help me to be a good mother to your beautiful girls and be here for them now that you are gone. Out of words. Love, Carla

    Carla Black says:
To my dearest Bordy, I'm sorry it has taken me so long to write to you, but this is extremely painful to me. For starters, I'll never get to say everything I need to say to you in just 250 words, so I'll probably have to submit several times. As you already know, I still cry over you and talk to you almost every night. I never thought I would say this, but I miss you terribly. Everything seems to remind me of you. It has been 2 weeks today since you passed and I still can't believe that you are gone. It is no easier for me today than it was when your mother called me. When the TV came on first thing this morning, it was on the big game fishing show and they were showing how to rig pin fish and of course I thought of you. When I was going through storage bins tonight, I came across the card and letter you gave me at Valentines in 2006 with the braclet you gave me that I still have and will pass on to Casey or Brooke. I think this was God's way of telling me that it was time to write to you. I'll have to submit again because I'm out of words. All my love, Carla
