    Brandi Wells says:
My grandma was the best any grand child and great grandchild could ever wished for. She provided me with the happy memories of my childhood and gave me a hero to look up to. She was a very independent woman and strived hard to earn a living so she could provide for her and her children without having to be dependent. She was a strong and dedicated woman. She could be stern at times but it came out of love and she was very loving and full of a beautiful radiant kind heart and spirit. She built the foundation of our family in which we embraced and cherished. The holidays were not a holiday unless we were all at Grammie's house, where we were all full of joy and cheer full with the holiday spirits. She was an AMAZING cook and every time the holidays approached there would be a race to see who would get what to take home with them. Grammie always embraced the importance of family and work ethic to us. She loved us all and no matter what, despite our imperfections she never gave up on us. She was the rock of our family. In everything she did , she did it with love, determination and the strength of a strong independent amazing woman. My Grammie is my hero and I pray I can be half of the woman she was. Her being gone is hard for me to grasp ahold of. She has been with me for the 25 years I've been alive and I have no clue how to accept or believe that she is not here anymore. I have never been without her in my whole entire life , so I cannot process this. I know she is not here with me physically anymore but her heart and soul will live in me forever. She will still live because her blood pumps through my heart and I will keep her love and memory alive. When she left this earth she took a piece of my heart with her but in my heart is where she she will always be. I love you Grammie, you are now an angel and you can fly free in the heavens above us. Rest in peace sweet beautiful angel
