Brian Myles O’Reilly, born on January 25, 1950, in Providence, RI, left this world on June 28, 2023, in Wilmington, NC. Though his time with us was brief, the impact he made during his short life will forever be remembered and cherished.

Brian dedicated himself to his work as a Manufacturing Supervisor in the Wall Paper Industry. Through his leadership and expertise, he contributed greatly to the success and growth of the companies he worked for. His commitment to excellence served as an inspiration to all those who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Brian’s true passion lay in helping others. He found joy and fulfillment through his volunteer efforts with organizations such as the Wilmington Recovering Center, Novant Health New Hanover Medical Center, and the Basilica of Saint Mary Tilston Clinic here in Wilmington. His selflessness and compassion touched the lives of countless individuals, leaving a lasting impression of love and kindness.

Brian was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Hugh Francis O’Reilly, Sr., and Shirley Thornton O’Reilly. He leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will forever be treasured by his daughters, Sheena Elaine O’Reilly of Wilmington, NC, and Kiera Lee O’Reilly of Atlanta, GA. Additionally, he is survived by his brother, Hugh Francis O’Reilly, Jr. of Chepachet, RI, and a host of dear friends whose lives he enriched.

Services to honor Brian’s life will be held Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Halyburton Park  4099 South 17th Street at Shelter #1, from 3 to 4 PM,  allowing friends and family to come together and celebrate his remarkable journey.
