Brinda G. Walston, 58, of Wilmington, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2010, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Brinda was born in Wilmington to the late Alton G. and Vivian Nealy Garrett. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a sister, Sue Ann Watkins.
Survivors include two sons, Winston Garrett of Lillington, NC, and Josh Walston and wife Courtney of Leland; one daughter, Michelle Starling and fiancé Scott Skipper of Wilmington; three brothers, Douglas Garrett and wife Sandra of Castle Hayne, Kenny Garrett and wife Debbie of Wilmington, and Jerry Garrett, also of Wilmington; two sisters, Betty Jane Stevens and husband Larry of Loris, SC, and Faye Cable and husband Donald of Wilmington; and two grandchildren Hunter Starling and Scarlet Walston.
She was a homemaker and attended Castle Hayne Advent Christian Church.
There will be a private service at Wilmington Burial and Cremation Service officiated by Pastor Randall Smith. Interment Oleander Memorial Gardens.
