Brittany Paige Russ, 23, of Wilmington passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011.

She was born in Wilmington on May 4, 1988. Brittany graduated from South Brunswick High School.

Brittany is survived by her mother, Kimberly Eason Douglas and her father Richard V. Russ; son, Tristan Elijah Russ; maternal grandparents, Larry and Mary Jo Eason; paternal grandparents, Van Dawson and Cornelia Russ; brothers, Cody Russ and Dylan Russ; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 4 to 7 Saturday at Castle Hayne Church of God.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held 5 pm Sunday, May 29, 2011 at Castle Hayne Church of God.

    I am so sorry for your loss. Brittany was a nice person. When we first met she invited me into her home without really knowing anything about me. If you needed help she would help. Brittany was a kid harded person with a big heart and will be greatly missed
