Sis, I will really miss Carl. His picture brings back so many memories. I can see him sitting in a chair at one of the houses on Wicklow Loop stopping his reading and always patiently listening to all my all of my life stories. He was always so Handsome. He was like a big brother to me. I know this time has to be so hard. You are a wonderful woman and I can only imagine that the sadness must feel unbearable at times. Please know I love you and am always available to talk. You sister, Cathy

Debbie, I just heard the news about Carl and I am so upset over your loss. I loved Carl as a friend and because he was a person one who truly cared about people and had a huge heart. I hope things are better with you now although I know there is a huge hole in your heart. I am sorry I was not able to be there for you as you have been a lifelong friend as well. I miss you and hope that if you ever come to Richmond that you may give a call. I am proud to have had the pleasure to know Carl and also know that I am a better person for it. Love, Arthur
