Grandpa, On Sunday when you left us that was the hardest day of my life. Not only did I lose my grandpa but I lost my hero. You were the greatest man I ever knew. Your whole life you never stopped doing everything for everyone and making sure your family and friends were happy. Now you are finally resting and at peace. You taught me so much my entire life; from tying my shoes to driving a care to lessons about life and right and wrong. I wish my daughter would have gotten to meet you but I know that when she is born you will be her guardian angel and I will be able to show her pictures of you and share stories and memories. I miss you terribly and will hold you in my heart forever. Watch over all of us and rest peacefully Poppy. xoxo -Alexis

My Loving Dad: I'll miss you so much, you'll always be in my heart. I wish that I was able to be with you during your last moments, but I'm so glad that you went peacefully in your sleep. You were truly the best father in the whole world. Throughout my entire life you were there for me no matter what. Everyone always loved you, no matter who you met they always loved you; you were really one loveable guy! I will always remember all the good times we had together throughout my life. I remember my wedding day when you gave me away to Bobby, I was so honored to have you by my side. He was so happy to gain such a loving father-in-law. You were the best grandfather to Crystal & Alexis, they were very lucky to grow up with you in their lives. You treated them as if they were your own and taught them so much. You helped mold them into the beautiful young ladies that they are today. I love you dearly dad and hope that you are now at peace. Love Always & Forever, Your Daughter; Paula xoxoxoxo

Dear Paula and Family, I am very saddened to hear of "Babe's" passing. He was indeed a wonderful man. My memories of him are filled with kindness, and caring. Last evening, I actually dreamed of you and him, therefore learning this morning of his passing has been very surprising. Although our families lost touch many years ago, I often thought about both of you. Please accept my sincerest condolences. I will keep him and you, and your family in my prayers. God Bless.
