Carolyn Jayne Mise

Carolyn Jayne Mise, 63 of Wilmington, NC passed away May 1st, 2018. Her family and friends were by her side through her last journey. Carolyn was born on November 17, 1954 in Wilson, NC, the daughter of Elton and Eula Keen.

Carolyn was a care taker at heart. She worked over 30 years as a nurse. While working in nursing, her co-workers nominated her for “Woman of the Year”.

During her life, her and her lifetime husband Tony Mise, raised four children. When she wasn’t working as a nurse or taking care of her family, she enjoyed cooking, gardening, dancing and music. If any guest ever stopped by to visit, she was glad to offer them a seat at the table, and a plate to take home.

Beautiful Carolyn Jayne is survived by her loving husband Tony Mise, her four children, Anthony Brandon, Lesley Shannon, Allison McKenzie and Andrew Ryan. In addition, three grandchildren Tobias, Jaxson, and Rylee. Her brother Douglas Keen and his wife Linda Keen. Besides the above, there are numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and more friends than one could ask for.

A celebration of life will be held, May 5th, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at 717 Shawnee Trail, Wilmington, NC 28412, to honor and share the love that Carolyn always showed others. A beautiful soul that will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
