Carolyn Moreschi Nelson 32, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

She is survived by her parents James and Moreschi Nelson; brother Richard Nelson (Sarah); nephews AJ and Matthew Nelson; grandfather James M. Nelson; aunts Michelle Henderson, Robin Bennett, and Michelle T. Spaugh.

Also surviving are her 6 fur babies that includes her special baby “Blue”.

She was predeceased by her grandmothers Carolyn H. Nelson, Carlene Damron and grandfather Robert Thomas.

Carolyn attended Cape Fear Community College where she studied film and dental hygiene. She worked as a production assistant in the local film industry working on numerous film productions.

Surfing, The Beach, Star Wars (Baby Yoda), Dallas Cowboy Football were a few of the many things she loved. Most important to Carolyn was the love she had for her family and friends. She will forever be remembered as a beautiful person who was full of life!

A visitation will be held from 11-12 pm on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Wilmington Funeral Chapel.

    When I first met Carolyn she was just a little girl beautiful biiggest brown eyes I had ever seen I worked with her dad for awhile and got to know both her parents through food lion and around the island carolyn always had a smile she will be missed she could brighten up a room like no other fly high sweet he took you way to soon!! I love you and will be there for your mom! Rest well until we see each other again.

    I’m so very saddened to hear this news yesterday. Carolyn was a goos friend of mine. I saw her last 5 weeks ago and thank god, gave her a big hug. Didn’t realize it would be the last. Rest In Peace sweet girl!!
