Memorial Gifts & Donations

On Saturday, April 11, 2009, Casey Fox passed away at the young and tender age of 17. He was a bright, caring and wonderfully kind young man who will be terribly missed by many.

Casey was born in Statesville, NC, on May 28, 1991, the son of Terry and Sherri Fox, both of Wilmington.

In addition to his parents, Casey is survived by his brother Justin Fox; his grandfather Robert Bridges; his uncle and aunt Jerry and Jean Summers; and his aunts Judy Morgan, Tammy Stein, Sherry Moore; and a number of extended family, cousins and family friends.

In life, and beginning at a very young age, Casey’s natural allure led people and animals of all walks basking in his glow. A lover of the warm seasons the great outdoors, Casey indulged himself in many exciting sports including wakeboarding, surfing, extreme skating and boxing. Casey adored his family and maintained a glorious bond with both them and the friends that rallied around him. Casey’s memory shall live on, his light burns eternal.

A memorial service shall be held at 3:00 p.m. this Thursday, April 16, 2009, at Unitarian Universalist Fellowship located at 4313 Lake Ave. in Wilmington. Services were also provided by Wilmington Burial and Cremation.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice.
