    Aaron Hunter says:
Mrs Heglar was my teacher in 5th Grade. I will always remember her as one of my favorite teachers even at 10 years old I could tell she really cared about the education and well being of her students. You Will be missed Mrs Heglar and thanks for introducing us to great books at a young age like Where the Red fern Grows and Tuck everlasting (even though I didn’t want to read them back then)

    Sheila Jones Spellane says:
All of us who knew Cathy, we will feel the void she’s leaves in our hearts. I knew Cathy for more than 60 years. As an Air Force brat she was a steadfast friend and we would pick up where we left off every time my family returned to NC while Daddy served a remote tour. A good person with good values and a good heart, and, I’ll bet a fantastic Grandma! 💜

May you rest in the arms of the Lord who formed you from the dust of the earth. May Christ who was crucified for you, bring you freedom and peace. May Christ who died for you admit you into his garden of paradise. Eternal rest grant unto Cathy, O Lord! May perpetual light shine upon her, grant her the peace of Christ!
