Chadwick DeWitt “Chad” Davis 38 of Lumberton passed away Wednesday May 25, 2011 at his residence.

He is Survived by his Mother, Julia Davis of Wilmington NC; Father, Michael Davis Sr of Florida; two Brothers, Mike Jr. of Lumberton NC and Harley Davis of Rocky Point NC; two Daughters and one Son, Julia Davis of Greenville NC, Paislee and Tanner Davis of Florence SC, five Nieces and three Nephews;Maternal grandmother,Janet Rice of Wilmington; Paternal grandmother,Mary Alice Smith of Lumberton.

Memorial Services will be held 3PM Wednesday June 1, 2011 at Wilmington Funeral and Cremation for all who would like to attend.

    So sad to hear of the passing of Chad. Although we were not close Chad was a part of our Smith Family. He carried the name of our granddaddy,Dewitt who was his great grand daddy. We maintained knowledge of his daily life though his Grandmother, Mary Alice. God will protect those who just can not carry the Human burdens of life. May peace be with him as he is lifted by the Angles into the Gates of Heaven.
