Memorial Gifts & Donations

Chad R. Lewis, 31 of Wilmington, NC formerly from Campbell, NY accompanied by his best friend and life’s love, Daryll Lutz in escorting his brother Dustin to heaven on August 15, 2008.

Chad is loved and admired by all who have known him. His incredible gift to gab along with his easy going temperament made him a favorite to many. Chad has left behind a special little boy, the love and light of his life, his son Trentyn. Along with Trent, Chad leaves a family who loves him beyond words and a comrade of friends too abundant to mention.

We miss you so much already, Chad. Take care of your brother until we get there.

Calling hours will be held from 3-5 p.m. Friday at the Campbell Alliance Church. Services will be held there at 5 p.m. Friday.

Why did he have to go So young I just don't know why Things happen half the time Without reason without rhyme Lovely, sweet young man Son, friend and father Makes no sense to me I just have to believe he flew up to Heaven on the wings of angels By the clouds and stars and passed where no one sees And he walks with Jesus and his loved ones waiting And I know he's smiling saying Don't worry 'bout me Loved ones he left behind Just trying to survive And understand the why Feeling so lost inside Anger shot straight at God Then asking for His love Empty with disbelief Just hoping that maybe he flew up to Heaven on the wings of angels By the clouds and stars and passed where no one sees And he walks with Jesus and his loved ones waiting And I know he's smiling saying Don't worry 'bout me It's hard to say goodbye His picture in my mind Will always be of times I'll cherish And I won't cry 'cause he flew up to Heaven on the wings of angels By the clouds and stars and passed where no one sees And he walks with Jesus and his loved ones waiting And I know he's smiling saying Don't worry 'bout me Don't worry 'bout me Don`t worry 'bout me

Merry Christmas Hon! We all missed you and Dut at the family family party tonight. Franny ended up with the salt and pepper shakers this year. I think he's had them at least twice now. So funny to watch. I'm sure you were there laughing with us. I love you. Love, Mom

    Melissa & Trentyn says:
IN OUR HEARTS We thought of you with love today. But that is nothing new. We thought about you yesterday. And days before that too. We think of you in silence. We often speak your name. Now all we have is memories. And your picture in a frame. Your memory is our keepsake. With which we'll never part. God has you in his keeping. We have you in our heart. Author: Unknown
