Memorial Gifts & Donations

Chandler Robert Stewart, age 25 was born June 5, 1996 in Wilmington, NC.

Chandler attended and graduated EA Laney High School in 2014. He enjoyed playing football, baseball, and was passionate about hunting. Chandler loved his family and friends and enjoyed
his “crew” coming to the family farm in Burgaw where they made many great memories and lasting bonds. Anyone who was lucky enough to have met “Chan” knew he not only had beauty on the outside, but had the biggest heart for service. He was always quick to help anyone in need and he never met a stranger.

Chandler had an uncanny ability to make everyone laugh even when he didn’t mean to. He had a charismatic personality and will always be remembered for his infectious laugh and smile. Chandler had recently been baptised and rededicated his life to Christ. He loved his church family and was learning how to run the sound system. He will be missed by everyone he touched and will forever live in our hearts.

Chandler is survived by his father John Stewart: mother Lynn Stewart: brother, Chase: grandfather and grandmother, Robert and Margaret Barber: Grandmother Barbara Hill, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins and extended family.

A visitation will be held from 4-6pm on Friday, January 28,2022 at Wilmington Funeral Chapel with a memorial service 11am on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Friendly Community Baptist Church 1720 US-117, Burgaw, NC 28425, Pastor Dac Sanders will be officiating.
