Charita Lydia Perry, age 40 of Leland passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021.

Charita was born in Wilmington on June 22, 1981. She worked with the NC Harm Reduction Coalition serving the community by helping others who struggle with addiction.

Charita is survived by her daughter, Taylor Rae Perry and grandson, Kaiden Jace Abdalla; son, Christopher Jacob Perry; mother, Janet Santos; father Donald R. White, Jr.; sister, Angelina Dare Lewis (Adam); nephews, Brantley and Zackary Lewis; niece Anniston Lewis; Maternal grandfather, Danny Santos.

Preceded in death by her husband and soulmate, Chris Perry; brother, Jon White; maternal grandmother Joy Joan Santos; and paternal grandparents, Donald and Grace White.

A private family graveside service is planned and a special Celebration of Life service will be planned for a future day.
