    Steve McClure says:
To Charlie - my "favorite ditty-bopper" from our days together in the U-S Air Force (1966-68). He always bragged about his hometown of Rocky Mount, NC and I about Indy. We were the closest friends and we got each other through some hard times missing each others' families while we were away. The best part of our friendship was humor - always finding something, anything to laugh about. He was a joy to many and a blessing to all.
