    Chris Walker says:
Kip was an absolutely top knotch character and fine attorney. He and I used to joke that we were adopted brothers because he loved my father. I am deeply saddened to learn of his passing -- especially in light of how long it's been since last we spent any time together. Rejoice in his great Heavenly Homecoming and reunion with his missing loved ones. I will never forget him.

    Janet Coleman says:
Judge Rice was always encouraging to me as a "baby" lawyer, but stern and had high expectations. Great stories sitting in the back room with him, Fred Hatch, and so many others. I truly believe I would not be where I am were it not for his encouragement. He will be missed!

    Roselle Margolis says:
In 1978, as an attorney, Kip assisted the Task Force Against Family Violence, now Domestic Violence Shelter and Services, Inc., in procuring it's non-profit status, crafting the legal documents Pro Bono. Few new about his generous donation. As one of the leaders of the Task Force & Domestic Violence. PARALEGAL at Legal Aid throughout his legal career & Judgeship, we had a respect for each other. May his memory be for a blessing.

    Tonya Pridgen says:
It is with a heavy heart I just learned of his passing. This great man helped my family in our time of need. He helped stop a foreclosure of my father in laws home. It gave us time to regroup and bury my father in law. This great man has the best children I've had the pleasure of knowing. He was honest and stern in his beliefs both personal and professional. He will be greatly missed. But I know he is still running things in heaven. Bless you sir. Lord hold his family close.
