Charles F. Perkins, Sr., 65, of 508 Capeside Drive, Wilmington died Tuesday June 23, 2009 at his residence.

Charlie was born in Manchester, CT on September 3, 1943 the son of the late Frank Clayton and Catherine Cordner Perkins. He retired from the state of NH Liquor Commission and was a member of Hiram Lodge AF & AM in Claremont, NH. He was a Veteran of the Coast Guard during the Vietnam era. He and his wife moved to Wilmington in 1999 and he was a member of the Parkinson’s Support group of Wilmington.

He leaves his wife of 41 years Marjorie; daughter Kathi Sharpe and husband Kenneth of Level Cross, NC ; son Charlie Perkins, Jr and wife Tracy of Danville, VA. Four Grandchildren, extended family and many close friends.

Gathering of family and friends will be held at his residence on Saturday June 27, 2009 from 3 to 5 P.M

    I will always remember how I used to tease him and call him chuckles. ha ha . Now he is at rest. Its not easy losing a loved one. My mom passed away three years ago, not a day goes by that I don't think of her. Lean on each other at this time..
