Cheryl L. Morrison, 58, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018.  Cheryl was predeceased by her parents, Joseph R. Stanley, Sr. and Betty L. Barberio. She is survived by her boyfriend, Mitchell Chavis; step-father, Gary Barberio; brother, Joseph Stanley and wife Sherry and niece Lillian Stanley.

Cheryl was a very kind person with a loving soul who always put family and friends first in her life.  Christmas was her favorite time of year with the excitement of opening gifts only to re-wrap them so she could open them again! She was always thinking of others and she will be greatly missed by everyone that her soul touched.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Wilmington Chapel, Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 11:00 AM, 1535 S. 41st Street Wilmington, NC 28403.

    I am so very heartbroken to hear this. I saw her a few months back at work as I would enjoy my visits there to see if she was working and “catch up”. I really, really loved that girl! So many precious memories with her as well as the rest of the family. To Joe, Gary and the rest of Cheryl’s family, as well as Mitchell...You all are in my thoughts and prayers once again.
