Kevin, Chris and Jess, Our hearts go out to you! We'll continue to pray for the healing of your broken hearts. Cheryl fought a most courageous fight with the most upbeat attitude. We'll truly miss seeing her walk Bella down the street. I won't be able to "dead head" flowers without remembering her!

Kevin, Chris, and Jessica: Cheryl, a special, brillant person with an electrifying personality warmed the world around her with her smile. She came to teach! With her strong loving hand, she taught children as well as teachers. She earned respect from students, peers, administrators, and staff. She loved life, lived it to the fullest, and had much more she wanted to accomplish. Her body with the disease, just gave out. But her soul did not. We had many wonderful talks with laughter. I laugh now as I can see her straightening up to take on a disagreement with some one respectfully, "Now, Maddam." Everyone stopped to listen. I see the joy on her face, even now, the Christmas that she was my "Secret Santa" and gave me the musical angel globe. Every year at Christmas she knew there was a special place at our table, and I knew she had given a gift truly of herself. God has a bright new star in the Heavens as Cheryl is Home with Him. I will see her there, among the stars, feel her in the wind, and sparkle in the mist of a rainbow. I love her dearly. Rereading messages from friends will surround you with loving caring people. With Christian love and prayers with you during the difficult times ahead. Dorothie Johnson PS I am so sorry that I will not be able to come tonight as I am traveling to the mountains, IN, and Iowa before the 4th hits with heavy traffic.

I remember so many things about Cheryl yet, one that really sticks out was in a meeting she said she had traded in her bell bottoms for suits. It was hard to image her dressed as this yet, now I guess she is rocking with her bell bottoma and is having the time of her life. She was a great lady and will be missed for her determination to accomplish so much in the name of the students she inspired. I will think of her witha smile for she was always giving one to thise she met along the way.

Spencer-Beck always saw the best in every student and for this I will always be greatful. She was there during a difficult time in my life and I knew she looked out for my mom at Trask while she was there. The education field has lost a great asset and one that can never be replaced for they are few and far between. I hope you find comfort in knowing so many people respected her for what she stood for now and always
